JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Summary

The Infrastructure Investments Group (“IIG” or the “Group”) is a dedicated team and business unit within JPMAM Global Alternatives, focused on advising a perpetual-life strategy that offers investors a moderate-risk, long-term approach to private infrastructure equity investing. The strategy advised by IIG is one of the largest of its kind, with approximately $52 billion in committed capital under management. The IIG team comprises 70+ professionals across investment principals, capital raising, investor relations, execution, tax, research, and finance, based in London and New York.

An Investment Specialist in IIG is the external face of the Group and is actively fundraising and developing relationships with a global investor and consultant base across both institutional and private wealth clients. The role includes representing IIG on capital raising, product development, client retention and sales strategy. The role will partner closely with IIG’s broader team and JPMAM’s Global Client and Consulting Advisor teams.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

The Investment Specialist role will include:

  • Working in close partnership with IIG senior leadership and investor relations on capital raising, product development, client retention and sales strategy
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for IIG, both internally and externally, with respect to client and capital raising matters
  • Representing IIG at new business presentations, client/consultant updates, conferences, roadshows, seminars and trainings
  • Managing ongoing client/consultant relationships, including annual reviews and reporting
  • Partnering closely and coordinating with the JPMAM Global Client Advisor and Consultant Relations teams
  • Creating and reviewing client- and prospect-related materials, including RFPs, presentations, DDQs, research papers and Excel data requests

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  1. Ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently while traveling
  2. Interest and willingness to travel frequently and globally
  3. 3+ years of experience in an investment management, client-centric role; 
  4. Highly motivated self-starter; strong attention to detail, team-oriented, organized, and adaptable
  5. Ability to present and pitch in multiple languages 
  6. Demonstrated clear and concise written, verbal, and presentation skills
  7. Desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  1. Direct experience in one or more of the following is a plus: infrastructure, private equity, real estate
