What will your typical day look like?The Ascend Program PMO Director is responsible for day-to-day program execution, ensuring workstreams deliver against the integrated plan with discipline, transparency, and predictability. This role translates governance and strategy into operational execution-driving planning rigor, dependency management, issue resolution, and program reporting across the Ascend transformation.
The PMO Director partners closely with workstream leaders to keep delivery on track, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and elevate insights-enabling timely decisions and sustained program momentum.
Program Execution & PMO Operations
• Own execution of the integrated program plan across workstreams, milestones, and releases
• Run core PMO operating routines: workstream check-ins, milestone readiness reviews, action tracking, and delivery health assessments
• Ensure workstream plans, timelines, and deliverables align to overall program sequencing and critical path
Dependency & Issue Management
• Actively manage cross-workstream dependencies, ensuring sequencing and handoffs are clearly defined and tracked
• Maintain and drive resolution of risks, issues, and decisions (RAID), escalating when thresholds are met
Governance Execution
• Implement the governance structure (forums, cadences, decision rights, escalation paths)
• Develop materials for meeting architecture (SteerCo, Working Groups, Design Authority / Architecture Review, Release/Readiness, Change/Comms)
• Create and maintain governance artifacts: charters, RACI, decision logs, action tracking, and escalation playbooks.
Program Reporting & Insights
• Produce accurate, timely program status reporting (progress, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones)
• Maintain dashboards and PMO artifacts as the program's operational source of truth
• Translate detailed delivery data into concise, executive-ready insights for leadership forums.
• Lead preparation of Executive and governance materials
Workstream & Stakeholder Coordination
• Serve as the primary execution partner to workstream leads across business, technology, operations, and change
• Reinforce governance expectations and adherence to agreed processes, cadences, and reporting standards
• Facilitate cross-workstream alignment forums and working sessions to resolve friction and accelerate delivery
Change, Scope & Readiness Support
• Support scope and change control processes by coordinating intake, impact analysis, and documentation
• Assist in release and readiness activities, including milestone completion tracking, readiness checkpoints, and readiness execution

• Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end execution of complex, multi-workstream programs, ensuring delivery against integrated plans, milestones, and critical path with a high degree of rigor and accountability
• Proven experience managing cross-functional risks, issues, and dependencies, with strong judgment in escalation and mitigation to minimize impact on program delivery
• Deep expertise in executing PMO operating models, including governance forums, cadences, and standardized processes that enable disciplined program execution and oversight
• Strong capability to develop accurate, data-driven reporting and translate complex delivery information into clear, concise, executive-ready insights that support decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across multiple senior stakeholders, driving alignment, resolving dependencies, and maintaining delivery momentum
• Ability to translate governance direction and strategic priorities into actionable plans, ensuring effective implementation, tracking, and follow-through across the program
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $140,000 - $260,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
