Full Job Description
Position Location: This role supports our Oregon branch locations, which serves customers primarily located in the Portland / Vancouver, Eugene, and Bend, OR areas.

As an Area Operations Manager, Service, you will lead a service operations organization responsible for delivering profitable growth, operational excellence, and outstanding customer outcomes across all customers in your assigned area. You will ensure service execution aligns with Siemens SI B standards and partner closely with central Operations teams, including PMO and Operations Excellence, to drive consistency, quality, and scalable service performance.

As an Area Operations Manager, Service, you will:
  • Drive service and operational growth by meeting and/or exceeding quarterly and annual service revenue, gross margin, and operating margin commitments
  • Lead end-to-end service execution, including project services and Service Agreements, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, cost, and quality expectations
  • Plan, direct, and oversee service operations to support sustainable growth and long-term customer retention
  • Monitor service and project performance to control costs, manage risk, and improve margin performance
  • Partner with central Operations teams (PMO and Operations Excellence) to leverage standard tools, best practices, and shared capabilities
  • Provide operational and technical support to Sales teams, including pricing guidance, scope definition, renewals, and lifecycle service strategy
  • Lead workforce planning by hiring, developing, allocating, and performance-managing service resources to support current and future business needs
  • Ensure balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital performance align with Siemens and SI B North Star expectations
  • Maintain close alignment with Area General Management on service strategy, execution priorities, and market growth initiatives

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience leading field-based service teams within the commercial buildings systems industry (such as elevator repair, BAS, HVAC, fire alarm, etc).
  • Financial acumen, including responsibility for service revenue, margin, cost control, and cash flow performance
  • Experience partnering effectively with Sales, Project Management, and operations organizations
  • High School diploma or state-recognized GED
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • NICET II Fire Alarm Systems
  • Familiarity with Siemens Desigo platforms
  • Experience managing or supporting fire alarm and sprinkler test and inspection programs, including customer coordination, compliance activities, and service delivery execution
  • People leadership capability, including talent development and workforce planning
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship management and issue-resolution skills

The pay range for this position is $102,459 - $175,644 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
