Area Property Manager

The Opportunity
As an Area Manager at LSA Management, you will oversee multiple properties within your assigned region, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet company standards. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, maintaining high occupancy rates, and ensuring resident satisfaction. You will work closely with Community Managers to align property goals with company objectives. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
The Skillset
• 3 years, proven experience in regional property management, preferably in the multifamily housing industry
• Travel required
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Proficient in using property management software (Yardi Voyager and RealPage preferred)
• Knowledge of LIHTC and affordable housing regulations required
• Proven ability to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple multifamily communities.
• Skilled in evaluating property performance, including occupancy trends, rent collections, and maintenance efficiency.
• Experience implementing operational best practices to enhance resident satisfaction and asset value.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze property-level financials, control expenses, and drive revenue growth.
• Proficient in monitoring budgets, forecasting, and ensuring alignment with ownership goals.
• Capable of identifying financial risks and opportunities to optimize NOI (Net Operating Income).
• Effective leader with experience mentoring Community Managers and on-site teams.
• Builds high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and clear goal-setting.
• Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Deep understanding of federal, state, and local housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant laws.

• $85,000 - $90,000 DOE
