Job Req ID: 29743Job Summary:Supermicro is seeking a talented and passionate Application Engineer with expertise in software solutions, particularly in remote management products. You will be responsible for providing software solutions and support to our enterprise customers, as well as promoting Supermicro's software products to deliver optimized end-to-end solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software products and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with all levels of management and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):- Regular Technical Support duties: customer case handling, troubleshooting, and follow-through to resolution.
- Test automation for our software products (writing and maintaining automated test cases and scripts).
- Development of internal tools for managers and other departments (reports, dashboards, workflow utilities).
- VIP customer support: Primary or backup contact for high-priority accounts
- Contribution to company software projects (BMC, CMM, Redfish, etc.) - design reviews, testing, and coordination with SW/PM teams
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in automated testing is preferred
- Knowledge and skill on Python programming
- Working independently and able to research and solve problems
- 2+ years of working / technical support experience in computer systems and/or servers is a plus
- Strong organizational and well-developed social skills
- Highly analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, good team player is a plus
- Excellent telephone etiquette skills and on-site support skills
- Excellent knowledge of Server / Workstation GPU products is a plus
- Strong communication skill in both verbal and written
Salary Range$80,000 - $100,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
