Job Description

As an Application Engineer II, here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the successful deployment and support of our products and solutions by providing technical expertise and assistance to customers. You will be involved in understanding customer requirements, implementing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective application of Honeywell technologies.

In this role, you will impact on the success of our products by providing technical support and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

You will report directly to our Application Engineering Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: for the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work onsite 100% M-F.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical expertise and support for Honeywell application products to customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize application solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project implementation and provide training to end users.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in application engineering or a related technical role
  • Strong knowledge of Honeywell products and solutions with the ability to apply technical expertise to customer needs
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting application issues, configuring software solutions, and delivering technical training
  • Experience with relevant tools and technologies such as Honeywell application software, project management tools, and industry standards
WE VALUE
  • Advanced degree in Engineering such as Electrical Engineering (EE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME) is preferred
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment and managing multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning in technology and applications


Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Intelligrated (IGS) business to American Industrial Partners ("AIP"). At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. We expect this role, dedicated to the IGS business, will be part of this future transaction when it closes.
