Job Duties:- Utilizing engineering background, provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical customer support including implementation, training, and maintenance support for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and semiconductor intellectual property (IP).
- Investigate and answer questions about Jasper tools, creating test cases to reproduce issues reported by the user, suggesting workarounds, filing issue tickets for Research & Development (R&D) action, describing enhancement requests, and managing users' expectations.
- Help customers address their verification challenges using Formal Verification.
- Analyze and evaluate customer needs and make recommendations for solutions, and work with Sales to identify business opportunities.
- Train customers on Jasper tools.
- Understand user designs and whether they are suitable for formal verification, helping the user create a Formal Environment, and demonstrating how our tool can solve the customer issue.
- Work with R&D, Product Engineers, and customers to develop new methodologies to address the customer needs.
- Create and test new flows to improve Jasper tools.
- Establish support and qualification processes for key customers, improving customer satisfaction, effectiveness of the team, and tool quality.
- Mentor new hires, sharing experience and guiding them in the Application Engineer role.
- Responsible for content creation (Rapid Adoption Kit, Videos, App Notes) about several Jasper tool apps.
- Some telecommuting permitted.
- Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Qualifications: - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related engineering occupation.
- Understanding of System Verilog Register-Transfer Level (RTL) design on the Systems-on-a-Chip (SoC) scale and debugging techniques, including System Verilog Assertions
- Formal functional verification concept and methods including model checking, theorem proving, equivalence checking, and property checking
- Static verification like clock domain crossing, reset domain crossing, linting, and Static Timing Analysis (STA)
- Jasper tool usage and feature development, deployment and understanding of SAT solvers
- Hardware security and computer architecture
- Sequential and combinational equivalence checking including Jasper SEC and LEC
- Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
The annual salary range for California is $151,513 to $191,100. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
