Qualifications

  • Identify and execute process improvements for repo/pipeline management
  • Refactor repository structure and deployment files as needed per GitLab team requests

Area Required skills
AWS development - Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, CloudWatch
Programming - Python, Java, Node.js/TypeScript, or .NET; REST APIs; unit testing
Infrastructure as Code - Terraform strongly preferred; CloudFormation or AWS CDK helpful
GitLab - Git repositories, branching strategy, merge requests, approvals, protected branches and tags
Resource responsibilities
1. Knowledge of AWS Cloud and its component.
2. Manage existing deployment components and facilitate coordination between Vendor team and GitLab Teams
3. Contribute to Shared GitLab Components
4. Coordinate/Implement Deployment Pipeline Setup (Connect, Rosa, Web Chat)
5. Deploy initial stacks to all remaining Lower Environments
6. Coordinate/Implement Repo/Pipeline Process Improvements
7. Refactor repo structure and deployment files as requested by the GitLab team
