Why Consider This Job Opportunity

The Application Analyst provides support, maintenance, configuration, and development of specified systems, applications, automation solutions, and IT platforms. This position will work with management, users, IT teams, and vendors to support application implementations and business process improvement initiatives.

The Application Analyst serves in a technical and analytical role with a focus on application creation, support, process automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The position will also support application enablement, training, and technical guidance in accordance with established development and governance standards.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

  • Analyzes business requirements; designs, configures, documents, implements, and supports new or existing applications and systems in accordance with company needs and policies.
  • Develops and supports business process automations using company-approved automation solutions and technologies.
  • Coordinates application and automation enhancements, including analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Supports process re-engineering by working with users to analyze workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Supports Citizen Development through technical guidance, troubleshooting, training, and development of approved low-code and automation solutions.
  • Analyzes and documents problems, recommends solutions, initiates corrective actions, and follows up on problem resolution.
  • Works with business groups and cross-functional teams to support process improvement and technology initiatives.
  • Performs testing and validation of applications and system updates prior to implementation.
  • Supports organizational governance, standards, and deployment guidelines.


Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities

  • Provides user support and training for business applications and IT solutions.
  • Develops and delivers user documentation, training materials, and presentations to support effective system utilization.
  • Coordinates with technical teams as needed to support issue resolution and implementation activities.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting, configuring, developing, or implementing business applications, automation solutions, or related systems.
  • Knowledge of business process analysis, databases, and application technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and user training skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business users.
  • Experience with project coordination and execution.


How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying, and supporting UiPath RPA solutions, including attended and unattended automations.
  • Experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Microsoft Power Automate Desktop solutions, including attended and unattended automations, and Power Automate cloud flows.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Experience integrating Microsoft Power Platform solutions with AI capabilities, including Copilot, AI Builder, or other AI-powered services.
  • Experience developing VBA or Power Query solutions for data transformation and integration.
  • Experience supporting and enabling Citizen Development communities through technical guidance and best practices.
  • Microsoft Power Platform and/or UiPath certification.
