REQUIRED CRITERIA:
  • NJ Principal Certification
  • Prior administrative experience preferred
  • Experience working with secondary students preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
  • Thorough knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and capacity to provide instructional leadership at the building-level
  • Thorough understanding of curriculum theory, best practices, leadership styles, and assessment practices
  • Ability to design instructional plans to address building needs
  • Demonstrated record of educational leadership and learner-driven decision-making at the building-level
  • Ability to deliver professional development to staff
  • Thorough understanding of high school pedagogy, program and curriculum development, supervision, evaluation, special education, and professional development
  • Knowledge and experience of MTSS, interventions, and programming for the entire student population
  • Experience with curricular online programs; ability to use these programs to address the specific needs of students
  • Demonstrated record of systems thinking and problem-solving

  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and support extracurricular programs, student activities, and fundraising initiatives that enhance school programs, promote student engagement, and strengthen the overall school community.
  • Demonstrated record of professional integrity and sound judgement, with a history of fostering positive relationships with staff, families, and the school community.
  • Experience with extracurricular programming including fundraising to support school programs preferred.


Salary: In accordance with the WTPA Agreement. Current range: $108,592 $157,662, depending upon experience and placement on the salary guide.
