DESCRIPTION Director of School ManagementPOSITION SUMMARY: The Director of School Management shall be responsible for evaluating the student conduct processes and procedures, act as the student advocate, supervise and monitor all aspects of
campus security including security technology and staff. The Director of School Management
shall also serve as the coordinator of the crisis management team and shall serve as the
District's School Safety Specialist and Anti-Bullying Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Possess the valid and appropriate New Jersey certification for Director
- Successful teaching experience at the elementary or secondary level(s).
- Successful experience as a building administrator or district-level department or program
- administrator in public or private schools. Experience as a principal or a district-level
- director is preferred.
- Ten (10) years' experience in public education, five of which have been in administration.
- Possess effective management, problem-solving, organizational, human relations, and
- written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, students, parents, and
- other school district constituencies.
- Demonstrate ability to analyze a situation accurately, and adopt and implement an
- effective course of action.
- Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
- Successful Criminal History Clearance
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find acceptable.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT 12 - Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement.
COMPENSATION In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position is $180,000 - $195,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.

ANNUAL EVALUATION: Performance is reviewed annually in accordance with NJ State law
and the provisions of the Board of Education policy on evaluations for certificated staff.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System.
