Full Job Description
The RE Shared Services AML/KYC Manager provides leadership and oversight of the Global Relationship Excellence KYC program, ensuring regulatory compliance, sound risk management, and the effective delivery of client due diligence activities across global teams. As the primary KYC subject matter expert, the role partners with Compliance, Risk, and business stakeholders to drive operational excellence, support regulatory change, and deliver consistent, risk-based KYC outcomes.

Know Your Customer ("KYC") is a critical responsibility for Global Relationship Excellence, with respect to both the onboarding of new clients and periodic review of current client KYC files. Global Relationship Management works closely with Compliance to understand evolving KYC standards, and ensure files are completed and approved in accordance with those standards. Ongoing reporting for the program is provided to the BBH offices that are contracted with our clients as well as to the BBH Investor Services' Client Acceptance Committee, which is made up of Partners of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Program Oversight
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Act as the primary KYC subject matter expert and trusted advisor to RE, Compliance, and business stakeholders globally.
  • Ensure appropriate resource allocation, workload management, and prioritization to support business and regulatory commitments.
  • Serve as the escalation point in instances on workflow issues and/or where a client may be non-responsive


Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Oversee the effective execution of onboarding, periodic review, and KYC remediation activities.
  • Responsibility for completing client KYC Files which will include, but may not be limited to:
    • complete AML/KYC Files,
    • review and validate that select RE Clients' actual account activity and use of BBH's products and services are consistent with the clients' stated expected account activity and use of BBH's products and service
  • Drive process enhancements that improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and client experience while maintaining a robust control framework.
  • Monitor operational performance, identify trends and risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary.


Governance & Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and client-facing teams.
  • Coordination of the KYC Oversight Committee to provide broader business awareness of KYC-related developments and the relevance of such developments to clients and internal resources.
  • Provide reporting, insights, and recommendations regarding KYC program performance, risks, and regulatory developments.
  • Influence and drive decisions through effective stakeholder engagement and subject matter expertise.


Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within financial services, banking, AML/KYC, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of AML, KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and leading or developing team members in a global environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior management and governance committees
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience leading operational or regulatory change initiatives.

Salary Range

$100,000 - $150,000 Base Salary + Annual Target Bonus
