Join us as a Circuits Research Engineer/Scientist and be at the forefront of innovation in analog, mixed-signal, and digital circuit technologies. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the research and development of next-generation Power Delivery IPs that deliver industry-leading performance (efficiency, power density, bandwidth) in advanced process technology nodes. You will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge intellectual property (IP) and features that will shape the future of Intel's future AI and Datacenter Products, enabling higher Perf/Watt and overall value. Your work will directly influence Intel's product roadmap, collaborate across industry and academia, and position Intel as a leader in the semiconductor industry's future innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and execute scientific research projects focused on advancing analog, mixed-signal, and digital circuit techniques to develop innovative power delivery IPs
- Design and enable new IPs and features to enhance Intel's product offerings.
- Conduct circuit analysis and simulation and engage in design verification, testing, and debugging of fabricated circuits.
- Research and propose innovative techniques to achieve superior form-factor, higher input voltage, higher efficiency, and ability to handle fast load transients.
- Partner with engineering design teams to define product requirements and assess the feasibility of adopting new technologies.
- Study industry trends, conduct competitive analyses of topologies, and develop proof-of-concepts or prototypes such as test chips.
- Collaborate with academic institutions, industry partners, and internal technical teams to address complex challenges and find innovative solutions.
- Disseminate research findings through scientific publications, patents, presentations, and outreach efforts to enhance Intel's reputation as a thought leader in circuit design and advanced technologies.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, with specialization in power delivery.
- Proficiency in power delivery (Switched Capacitors, Inductor Buck, Linear, and Hybrid topologies) circuits with ability to perform detailed design, analysis, and simulation tools.
- Strong expertise in analog electronics, semiconductor device physics, and electrical fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with circuit testing, signal and power integrity, and analog behavior modeling.

- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and develop innovative power delivery circuit techniques.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work across cross-functional teams and external partnerships.
