We are currently seeking a AI GTM Director for Public Sector (Remote in the US) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

AI GTM Director with Public Sector (Remote based role within the US)

As an AI GTM Director within NTT DATA's AI Solution team, you will work directly with North America Public Sector clients to shape their AI strategy, guide solution direction, and support the successful execution of AI initiatives. This role blends industry expertise, AI leadership, and consultative client engagement, with flexibility to lean toward GTM strategy or technical execution, depending on your strengths. You will collaborate with senior leaders, solution architects, and cross-functional AI teams to help insurers adopt AI responsibly and at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Go-to-Market & Client Leadership (GTM-Focused Activities)
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Public Sector executives, helping define and shape AI opportunities aligned with underwriting, claims, distribution, and policy operations.
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships across Public Sector accounts and/or regions.
  • Identify, prioritize, and shape AI opportunities for regional or mega-accounts
  • Influence deal strategy, support proposal development, and collaborate with SMEs to articulate solution approaches.
  • Represent AI offerings in client discussions, workshops, value assessments, and pursuit cycles.

AI Solutioning & Delivery Leadership (Execution-Focused Activities)
  • Provide high-level technical guidance on AI solution architecture, feasibility, and recommended approaches.
  • Partner with AI architects and engineers to co-shape proposals, POVs, and solution constructs.
  • Oversee AI project delivery outcomes (where aligned to your track), ensuring quality, clarity, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Stay current with GenAI, agentic systems, machine learning, and insurer-specific AI use cases.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and consulting teams on AI strategy and execution.
  • Support the development of new AI offerings and reusable assets for the Public sector.
  • Operate comfortably in a highly matrixed, ambiguous environment with evolving priorities.


Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years in Public Sector with understanding of key processes and business issues.
  • 3+ years delivering or shaping AI-driven initiatives, proofs of concept, or GTM engagements in the insurance sector.
  • 3+ years in consulting, advisory, GTM, or pre-sales environments working directly with clients and delivering on AI initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to travel 25%

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $211,995 - $312,900. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $151,400 - $202,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered. Company benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
