Join our Americas Data and AI team and help shape the future of AI at Macquarie. This role plays a pivotal part in consulting with business units to identify high-value opportunities to adopt AI, incubating or prototyping AI solutions, uplifting AI fluency of the workforce and embedding AI capabilities across the organization. You will act as a trusted advisor and technical expert, bridging strategy, design, engineering, and change adoption to accelerate responsible and scalable adoption of AI.

Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-enabled optimization, incubate and prototype solutions from ideation through testing, and advise on scalable, secure, and trustworthy implementation practices. Design and deliver training, workshops, and hands-on resources to upskill employees while championing responsible AI use, experimentation, and cultural change. Support delivery and AI Engineering and Assurance teams through evaluation frameworks, observability, and reviews of code and architecture to ensure compliance, reliability, and long-term value.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills complemented by effective communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
- Proven experience in process analysis and optimization, particularly in automation-, data-, or AI-driven transformations.
- Expertise in software engineering, machine learning, and AI system design, including code review and architecture assessment.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI platforms and MLOps pipelines, ideally within regulated environments.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights, with experience in financial services or other regulated industries preferred.
