Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role
We're looking for an AI Developer II to join our growing team!
What you'll do here:
- Promote data exploitation and deliver AI-based and machine learning solutions used by the different teams of the organization and by customers.
- Integrate a team with high visibility and which will offer you a wide array of challenges as part of projects involving speech recognition, image and data processing related to human behaviour, climate and geography, both in personal and commercial lines insurance.
- Help evolve AI-based and machine-learning software products, while working on models required by the organization's systems.
What you bring to the table:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or any combination of equivalent education and experience
- 5 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency with Python
- Excellent understanding of machine learning
- A developer passionate about artificial intelligence, able to interact with software engineers, data scientists and R&D teams
- An agent of change
- Adept at translating a business problem into a technology solution
- Comfortable working in complex environments that are constantly evolving and multidisciplinary team
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
