What you will do:Guidehouse is seeking a Cloud Architect to design, implement, and oversee secure, scalable cloud and data platform solutions supporting enterprise analytics, data, and AI initiatives. This role provides hands-on technical leadership and architectural direction across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and DevSecOps environments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design end-to-end cloud and data platform architectures aligned to enterprise analytics, data management, and AI use cases.
- Lead infrastructure, platform engineering, and DevSecOps activities across cloud environments.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks platforms.
- Support architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and solution demonstrations with client stakeholders.
- Ensure cloud solutions align with security, governance, resiliency, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with data architects, engineers, operations leads, and program leadership to deliver integrated solutions.
- Guide implementation teams on architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.
What you will need:- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST
- Bachelor's degree
- TEN (10) or more years of experience in cloud architecture, platform engineering, or infrastructure design roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks etc.
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale data and analytics environments.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in the DC area.
What would be nice to have:- Cloud and platform certifications (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Experience with Alteryx or analytics platform integrations.
- Prior experience supporting financial services or regulatory organizations.
