AI/Cloud Infrastructure Administrator

Summary

As an AI / Cloud Infrastructure Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting and improving FGF's cloud environments and AI platforms. You will help ensure our systems are secure, stable, scalable, and ready for the rapidly evolving demands of the business.

You'll work across Azure, GCP, automation tools, and AI/ML platform components to deliver high-quality infrastructure support while contributing to the modernization and innovation of our technology landscape. This role blends hands-on cloud administration with emerging AI infrastructure needs, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, automation, and working with modern cloud and AI technologies.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure services across Azure and GCP, ensuring strong performance, reliability, and security.
  • Support the infrastructure required for AI and ML workloads, including environment setup, resource provisioning, and deployment readiness.
  • Assist in automating workflows using scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools to streamline operations and improve consistency.
  • Monitor cloud environments, usage patterns, access controls, and system health, identifying opportunities to optimize cost, performance, and resilience.
  • Help integrate AI, cloud services, and automation into existing support processes and operational frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot issues across cloud, application, and platform layers, ensuring timely resolution and root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain and update documentation, including environment standards, architecture diagrams, access procedures, and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure teams to support deployments, updates, and operational improvements.
  • Participate in platform improvement initiatives, infrastructure reviews, and technical discussions to help enhance the overall environment.

Required Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in cloud administration, systems administration, or infrastructure operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (experience with GCP is an asset).
  • Understanding of automation tools, scripting, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
  • Exposure to AI/ML environments, including model deployment workflows, data pipelines, or platform support.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking, identity management, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and security best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve cloud, infrastructure, and application issues.
  • Clear communicator with an organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn emerging AI and cloud technologies.
