AI Automation Engineer

Position Summary

Corsica Technologies is seeking an experienced AI Automation Engineer to join its AI Innovation & Automation team. This role is responsible for designing, building, supporting, and continuously improving enterprise automation, AI agent, and data integration solutions that drive operational efficiency, service delivery excellence, and scalable business outcomes.

The AI Automation Engineer will work across Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure services, and enterprise business systems to deliver intelligent automation and AI-enabled solutions. This role combines application development, workflow automation, data integration, AI agent engineering, and platform administration to help operationalize AI across the organization.

As a member of the AI Innovation & Automation team, the engineer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, operational leaders, platform administrators, and solution architects to transform manual processes into scalable, governed, and measurable automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Solution Development

• Design, develop, and support automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Build scalable automation workflows that integrate with internal and external business systems.
• Develop reusable automation patterns, templates, and accelerators that improve delivery speed and consistency.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through process automation and AI-enabled workflows.

AI Agent Engineering

• Design, configure, test, and deploy AI agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Develop agent actions, orchestration patterns, prompting strategies, and grounding approaches.
• Support AI agent lifecycle management across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor agent performance, adoption, and effectiveness while continuously improving user experience.

Data & Integration Engineering

• Design and implement integrations between Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Autotask, and other enterprise platforms.
• Develop data pipelines, APIs, connectors, and automation services that support enterprise AI and reporting initiatives.
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of governed data models supporting automation and AI workloads.
• Support operational reporting, analytics, and intelligence solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

Platform Administration & Governance

• Support administration of Power Platform environments, Copilot Studio environments, Dataverse solutions, and associated platform services.
• Participate in environment management, application lifecycle management (ALM), deployment processes, and governance initiatives.
• Assist with security, permissions, monitoring, auditing, and platform optimization activities.
• Maintain solution documentation, architecture diagrams, technical standards, and operational runbooks.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in project discovery, solution design, testing, and production deployment activities.
• Contribute to internal standards, best practices, and engineering methodologies.
• Stay current on emerging Microsoft AI, automation, and data platform technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing automation or application solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or conversational AI technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or enterprise analytics platforms.
• Experience integrating business applications through APIs, connectors, or automation platforms.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred

• Experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, or other Microsoft business applications.
• Experience supporting enterprise automation, workflow, or AI initiatives.
• Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, Data, or AI-related certifications.

Work Environment

• This is a full-time position operating in a professional office and remote collaboration environment.
• Work may be performed from a corporate office location, approved remote workspace, or a hybrid arrangement based on business requirements.
