Full Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking highly skilled Test Engineers to support the 715th Test Squadron (715 TS) at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC). The 715 TS operates world-class aerodynamic and propulsion test facilities, and this role is critical to advancing the nation's hypersonic weapon and flight systems. This position is located onsite at Arnold AFB, TN.

As a Test Engineer, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
  • Supporting the 715th Test Squadron at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) in the planning, execution, and analysis of hypersonic aeropropulsion ground testing.
  • Analyzing aerodynamic, thermodynamic, and propulsion data from ground test facilities (such as the Aerodynamic and Propulsion Test Unit - APTU).
  • Developing comprehensive test plans, test matrices, and safety packages in coordination with facility engineers and program stakeholders.
  • Utilizing data acquisition systems and post-test data reduction tools to evaluate scramjet, ramjet, and other high-speed propulsion system performance.

  • Hiring at multiple levels:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a highly related technical field. Additional experience may be substituted for education with customer approval. At least 3+ years of applicable experience.
  • Or Associate degree in highly related technical related field with 8 years of experience.
  • Or High School diploma with 12 years of experience


  • Active Secret/clearance is required


Schedule: M-F; 8-5

Work Location: Onsite, AEDC Arnold AFB, Tullahoma, TN

Travel: 0-10%
