The Talent Acquisition Sourcer reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition and builds and sustains proactive talent pipelines across critical roles and markets as defined by the TA Leadership Team. This role is a market intelligence and supply engine to support our shift toward an increasingly proactive and predictive Talent Acquisition function.
As this is a new sub-specialty within the organization, the Sourcer will also work closely with TA Leadership and the TA COE to develop the standard operating procedures, best practices and metrics of success for sourcing.
What you will do
• Develop targeting sourcing strategies for identified business-critical pipelines.
- Across geographies, competency gaps and position types and timelines.
- Evolve the practice to advise and identify gaps based on deep market knowledge.
• Produce talent maps and develop models or templates that can be leveraged by the wider team in a self-serve model.
- Combine market knowledge with hiring data to pre-emptively set expectations around hiring (ex. Projected times-to-fill)
- Deliver market 'Lunch & Learns' to recruiter colleagues.
• Participate in key workforce planning meetings to ensure an understanding of future needs to trigger pipeline pushes, builds or maintenance statuses.
• Partner with TA Leadership & the COE to build solid operating procedures, workflows, KPIs and best-practices around sourcing including agentic and generative AI use.
- Train recruiter colleagues on the above to ensure consistent practices across the wider TA team.
• Act as an advisor or lead the sourcing strategy for punctual hard-to-fill or business critical roles (roles that pass the approval protocol).
• Build pipeline community journeys to keep talent engaged in the medium and long term and offer candidate experiences that translates to successful conversions.
- Events, marketing campaigns, training and co-development opportunities etc.
- Develop a playbook on the passive to active candidate experience and train colleagues and the business.
• Own strategic pipelines in Avature and direct operations to ensure their health in collaboration with other sourcers and/ or recruiter colleagues.
This role could be for you if you have
• 5 to 7 years of Talent Acquisition experience with a focus on sourcing.
• Ability to leverage analytics and market research to develop custom pipeline strategies.
- Ability to interpret monitoring KPIs and shift activities to ensure healthy pipelines.
• Previous experience using sourcing tools and other techniques such as Boolean searches, X-ray, extensions etc.
• Learning agility to constantly evolve strategies and leveraging new AI tools in sourcing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate long-term candidate experiences and journeys across the company.
• Ability to conceptualize new processes, experiences or techniques from scratch (builder and continuous improvement mindset).
