Your contributionAs an Advisor, Compensation, Job Architecture & Market Analysis, you'll play a key role in ensuring Newmont's global compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and compliant. Your work will help shape how we attract, reward, and retain top talent across all regions by supporting job architecture design, salary structures, and pay equity initiatives.
As part of our team, you will- Conduct market research and benchmarking to analyze pay competitiveness and compensation trends.
- Perform job evaluations and ensure roles are accurately classified within Newmont's job architecture.
- Support the design, maintenance, and execution of salary structures and pay bands aligned with market data and internal equity.
- Assist with pay equity reviews and compliance with global transparency requirements.
- Support annual compensation cycles (merit increases, promotions, bonuses) ensuring accurate data management.
- Partner with Total Rewards and People teams across regions to implement consistent and fair compensation practices.
Prerequisites for your success in this role- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in compensation analysis or total rewards.
- Knowledge of job evaluation, market pricing, and pay equity principles.
- Proficiency with Excel, SuccessFactors, and compensation tools (MarketPay, PayScale, etc.).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
Your work environment- You'll join Newmont's Global Total Rewards Delivery team, collaborating with People teams across multiple regions. The role involves analytical and strategic work within a global matrixed environment, supporting compensation programs that uphold transparency, equity, and competitiveness.

Work Environment, Pay & Benefits:This position is based in our Denver, CO corporate headquarters, with flexibility for hybrid work. The base salary range is $86,500-$115,300 (reflecting market rates and your qualifications). The final base pay offer will be based on individual factors such as your experience, and skills - we do not ask for or use your prior pay in setting your compensation. You will also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and personal performance.
