Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Compensation Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the daily operations and administration of our compensation plans while contributing to a broader compensation strategy. Serving as an essential operational partner, you will work closely with HR team members to maintain accurate data, conduct analysis, and drive the development and implementation of strategic Compensation initiatives across the organization.

This role is perfect for a growing HR professional with a foundational understanding of the field who excels in a data-oriented environment, connects administrative workflows directly to high-level compensation strategy, and seeks to expand their impact within Compensation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compensation Operations & Data Integrity:
    • Lead data entry, audits, and complex maintenance within HR systems, while collaborating with team leadership to analyze data for strategic compensation projects
    • Assist in updating salary structures, job catalogs, and market benchmarks
  • Insights, Reporting & Advisory Support:
    • Generate key operational reports and insights, effectively communicating data-backed recommendations to HR leadership and business partners
    • Respond to standard queries from HR team members regarding base pay guidelines and support broader advisory discussions
  • Total Rewards Program Administration:
    • Support the ongoing administration and rollout of recurring compensation cycles, incentive plans, and employee recognition programs
    • Assist in drafting and distributing standard communications to support strategic employee engagement and compensation understanding
  • Operational Excellence & Process Innovation:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline routine administrative workflows and enhance data accuracy within HR systems
    • Support day-to-day department operations, ensuring an integrated, cost-effective approach to compensation and recognition

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:
  • HR Foundations: 3+ years of experience across various HR functions, with required exposure to HR operations or compensation administration, and a strong understanding of compensation plans structures, job leveling, and reward workflows.
  • Analytical Proficiency & Data Management: Strong aptitude for managing, validating, and manipulating datasets with a high degree of accuracy. Comfortable leveraging HRIS and data analysis platforms to support compensation modeling, reporting, and data-driven insights.
  • Communication, Organization & Service Mindset: Clear written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent organization, and a service-oriented approach to supporting internal stakeholders and executing operational tasks reliably.

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
