Key Responsibilities:- Standard Schedule: 32 patients facing pain center hours a week + 8 admin hours
- Manage medication refills
- Review referrals and input orders
- Patient Assessment:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments to gather information about patients' medical histories, symptoms, and current health status.
- Perform physical examinations to identify health issues and formulate appropriate care plans.
- Diagnosis and Treatment:
- Utilize advanced clinical knowledge to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Care Planning and Coordination:
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs, considering physical, emotional, and psychosocial factors.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
- Health Promotion and Education:
- Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle modifications, and disease management.
- Promote health and wellness through community outreach and educational programs.
- Specialized Practice:
- Specialize in one of the four recognized APRN roles: Nurse Practitioner (NP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
