Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Salary:$95,000-$100,000 annually (Depending on Experience)

Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department. The ADON helps ensure the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and clinical excellence while fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily management of nursing services
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote quality resident care
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
  • Participate in staff education, orientation, and ongoing competency training
  • Assist with clinical audits, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive resident care
  • Support infection prevention, risk management, and survey readiness efforts
  • Help coordinate staffing and maintain appropriate clinical coverage
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care


Qualifications
