- You will lead comprehensive project management initiatives, overseeing the rigorous analysis and operational execution of total project cost, schedule, and technical performance parameters for assigned naval defense systems.
- You will facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and deliver comprehensive status briefings covering ongoing financial management, milestones achieved to date, and the operational progress of active technical deliverables.
- You will provide expert programmatic advice and authoritative recommendations to executive leadership regarding complex procurement strategies, engineering challenges, and resource allocations affecting assigned projects.
- You will establish detailed implementation plans, critical milestones, and integrated master schedules to properly sequence activities and closely track operational costs across the entire life cycle of technology initiatives.
- You will independently manage complex cross-organizational tasks with multiple critical dependencies, while mentoring junior staff members regularly to build technical depth and ensure seamless organizational succession.
- You will generate vital cost and schedule performance indicators, comprehensive analytical reports, and risk forecasts for operational maritime systems deployed across both shore installations and active surface fleet commands.
- You will support leadership by managing quarterly phased funding obligations and associated milestone schedules to guarantee that all allocated project financial resources are executed within strict organizational deadlines.

- Generally, current Federal employees applying for STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level.
QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band NO-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
