Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our Director of Distribution at Netflix in Los Angeles. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities. They will need to place a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times, as well as an interest in and enjoyment of planning team events and travel.  This is a demanding, fast-moving position that requires someone who can exercise sound judgment and significant initiative. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Schedule and manage complex calendars for the executive - Manage various internal meetings, events, and off-sites across multiple time zones - Coordinate travel arrangements, both domestically and internationally - Represent the office professionally and serve as a point of contact for visitors and external partners - Process and submit expense reports - Foster clear and concise communication among all necessary parties - Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - Create, edit, and build presentation decks - Assist with maintaining the department’s databases and working information documents - Assist with the curation of material distributed internally and externally Qualifications: - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information - Experience as an executive/administrative assistant within the entertainment industry; distribution, licensing, series, or television experience is a plus - Ability to take on larger projects, including developing presentations and decks - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt quickly in a high-volume, fast-paced environment - Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting - Proactive, with a strong sense of curiosity to anticipate team needs - Absolute proficiency in internal tools, Slack, Airtable, and the Google Suite of apps (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Forms, and Calendar) - Technologically proficient, with the ability to troubleshoot simple tech issues and manage equipment setups independently Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of hourly pay; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in hourly pay versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The hourly range for this role is $38.46 - $71.39. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
