The Role

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Eaton Vance Equity investment team in Boston. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting two Portfolio Managers, investment professionals, and the broader team. The role is central to the smooth operation of the investment platform, requiring exceptional organization, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to anticipate the needs of a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, prepare detailed itineraries, and manage travel logistics.
  • Prepare and reconcile expense reports accurately and on time using firm systems.
  • Provide administrative support to Portfolio Managers, analysts, and other investment professionals.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, meeting materials, and marketing documents.
  • Coordinate onboarding, technology requests, office logistics, and workspace needs.
  • Maintain compliance records, recurring reports, and other administrative documentation.
  • Partner with Technology, HR, Compliance, Finance, Facilities, and other internal teams to resolve operational needs.
  • Support department meetings, events, and special projects while identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to quickly learn Bloomberg, FactSet, Concur, CRD, and other firm applications.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $100,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
