Overview

Join our team as an Administrative Assistant and support the Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) by providing comprehensive administrative support to the Joint Force Headquarters directorates. You will manage correspondence, coordinate travel arrangements, track tasks through government systems, organize meetings and events, and maintain calendars and office procedures to ensure seamless daily operations and effective communication across all organizational levels.

 

Work Schedule and Location:On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, Core Hours at 6919 Copper Ave, Fort Meade MD.

Responsibilities

Handling daily administrative tasks including phone calls, visitors, correspondence, and filingComposing and formatting documents, presentations, reports, and correspondenceMaking travel arrangements and preparing authorizations and vouchers using DTSTracking tasks and action items using government tracking systemsCoordinating logistics for meetings, conferences, and events including agendas, obtaining A/V equipment, and booking roomsMaintaining calendars, SharePoint sites, and office procedures/protocolsPreparing and distributing staff meeting briefs, "read aheads" and activity reportsMonitoring inboxes and tasking out assignments using task management systemsRetrieving documents and information from files and databases as needed
