Job Title: Additional Training Developer
Job Location: Washington, DCPosition OverviewThe Additional Training Developer provides critical production capacity to the training workstream, supporting the Training and Adoption Specialist in developing the full suite of role-based training materials required within 120 days of project start. Given the volume of deliverables across six user roles - user guides, exercises, job aids, slide decks, and e-learning content - this role is essential to meeting the Base Period training deadline without overextending the Key Personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Develop training materials for assigned user roles under the direction of the Training and Adoption Specialist, including user guides, quick reference guides, hands-on exercises, and instructor presentation slides.
- Develop job aids and role-specific cheat sheets for common Collibra tasks and workflows.
- Develop e-learning modules (if applicable) using approved authoring tools based on course outlines and learning objectives defined by the Training and Adoption Specialist.
- Update training materials as system changes occur throughout the period of performance, in coordination with the Board's technical team.
- Ensure all training materials comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements and Board branding guidelines prior to submission.
- Participate in technical reviews with Board Collibra SMEs to validate accuracy of training content.
- Develop post-go-live support content for assigned roles, including help documentation and common issues/resolutions.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or training content development.
- Demonstrated experience developing training materials for enterprise software applications in a federal or regulated environment.
- Experience developing multiple training modalities: job aids, user guides, e-learning modules, and hands-on exercises.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and accurately represent new software system features in training content.
- Strong written communication and document production skills.
- Experience ensuring training materials comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity with Collibra or other data catalog/data governance platforms.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent).
- Instructional design certification (ATD, CPLP, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments.
