Position Overview

The Additional Training Developer provides critical production capacity to the training workstream, supporting the Training and Adoption Specialist in developing the full suite of role-based training materials required within 120 days of project start. Given the volume of deliverables across six user roles - user guides, exercises, job aids, slide decks, and e-learning content - this role is essential to meeting the Base Period training deadline without overextending the Key Personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop training materials for assigned user roles under the direction of the Training and Adoption Specialist, including user guides, quick reference guides, hands-on exercises, and instructor presentation slides.
  • Develop job aids and role-specific cheat sheets for common Collibra tasks and workflows.
  • Develop e-learning modules (if applicable) using approved authoring tools based on course outlines and learning objectives defined by the Training and Adoption Specialist.
  • Update training materials as system changes occur throughout the period of performance, in coordination with the Board's technical team.
  • Ensure all training materials comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements and Board branding guidelines prior to submission.
  • Participate in technical reviews with Board Collibra SMEs to validate accuracy of training content.
  • Develop post-go-live support content for assigned roles, including help documentation and common issues/resolutions.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or training content development.
  • Demonstrated experience developing training materials for enterprise software applications in a federal or regulated environment.
  • Experience developing multiple training modalities: job aids, user guides, e-learning modules, and hands-on exercises.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and accurately represent new software system features in training content.
  • Strong written communication and document production skills.
  • Experience ensuring training materials comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Collibra or other data catalog/data governance platforms.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent).
  • Instructional design certification (ATD, CPLP, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments.
