Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-volume accounts receivable function while driving process improvements and mentoring a small team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys improving workflows, building strong cross-functional relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely collections.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable management, supervisory experience, and a passion for developing efficient processes that support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely collections, accurate cash application, and strong internal controls.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline the accounts receivable cycle, reduce manual processes, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to support timely payment and resolve billing or collection issues.
  • Partner with internal departments to investigate and resolve customer disputes and payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts and provide reporting that supports financial planning and business decisions.
  • Monitor aging reports, collection performance, and key accounts receivable metrics, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop an accounts receivable team member through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure departmental procedures are documented and cross-training is maintained to support business continuity.
  • Support month-end close activities and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounts receivable experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
