Job DescriptionThe Accounting Specialist position reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with month end and year end close processes.
Responsibilities: - Perform end-of-month closing and post-closing activities such as preparing general ledger entries, assisting with balance sheet reconciliations, compiling data and supporting documentation for journal entries.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll activities, and others.
- Assist with internal and external audits and tax inquiries by providing documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (GAAP).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, specializing in general ledger.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel, and knowledge of Oracle system experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
