Overview

The Accounting Manager leads the accounting function for a service-based organization, ensuring accurate financial records, timely month-end close, strong internal controls, and compliance with company policies and external regulations. This role partners closely with leadership to deliver financial insights that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting 6 Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
  • Month-End Close 6 Manage the close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Team Leadership 6 Supervise and develop accounting staff; assign work, review output, and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Payroll & Commissions Oversight 6 Ensure accurate payroll processing and commission calculations aligned with service contracts and internal policies.
