Full Job Description
Job Summary:

Alpitronic Americas is seeking an experienced Accounting & Controlling Manager to lead key accounting and financial activities supporting our growing U.S. operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an accounting professional who enjoys working beyond the numbers. You will lead core accounting and reporting activities while partnering closely with Operations, Sales and executive leadership to understand business performance, improve financial processes and support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings strong accounting fundamentals combined with experience in a manufacturing environment, including cost accounting, production variances and financial analysis.

What You'll Do

Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Lead the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, intercompany transactions, accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and continuously improve internal controls and financial governance.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and drive timely resolution of audit findings.


Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of manufacturing costs, including BOMs, labor routings and rates, material costs and overhead allocations.
  • Analyze production cost variances and partner with Operations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Evaluate productivity, manufacturing efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support product costing and financial modeling for new products and contract manufacturing activities.
  • Analyze customer and product profitability and provide insight into margin performance.


Financial Planning & Business Partnership

  • Lead and support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across departments.
  • Translate financial results into actionable business insights for leadership.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations and other functions to improve business performance and financial decision-making.
  • Advise leadership on accounting, budgeting, financial controls, profitability and business risks.


Leadership & Process Improvement

  • Lead, coach and develop the accounting team while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Establish scalable accounting processes that support continued U.S. growth.
  • Drive improvements in financial reporting, controls, workflows and ERP utilization.
  • Partner with global Finance colleagues to ensure alignment between U.S. operations and corporate financial requirements.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least two years of leadership or team-management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, distribution or similarly operational environment strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with cost accounting, financial reporting, internal controls and ERP systems.
  • Experience with manufacturing costing, including BOMs, labor, overhead and production variances, highly preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial analysis capabilities.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • ERP implementation or process-improvement experience is a plus.


Ability to commute/relocate: Charlotte, NC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
