Brief Description:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Account Manager to support and grow a portfolio of customers within the Aerospace sector. An inside sales role, this position is responsible for direct customer relationship management, driving account growth, and managing the order lifecycle from quoting and sourcing through order entry and delivery.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, process-driven, and comfortable owning all transactional and support activities for their assigned accounts. This position works closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure exceptional service, reliable execution, and long-term account development.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Ownership & Customer Support:- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned aerospace customers.
- Manage day-to-day customer interactions via phone and email, including inquiries, order status updates, delivery coordination, and issue resolution.
- Build strong customer relationships to support account retention and growth.
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase share of wallet and expand business within assigned accounts.
Quoting, Order Entry & Execution:- Manage the quoting process from start to finish, including pricing, lead times, and sourcing options.
- Enter and manage all sales orders directly within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Data & ERP Management:- Accurately enter sales orders, purchase orders, and related data into the ERP system.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records including pricing, lead times, and contact information.
- Ensure documentation and order records meet internal quality and traceability standards expected in aerospace.
Sales & Internal Coordination:- Collaborate with internal teams to support order flow, shipping readiness, and documentation requirements.
- Support continuous improvement in processes to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting or managing accounts within the Aerospace or Aerospace & Defense supply chain.
- Strong understanding of quoting, sourcing, and ERP-based order management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Education/Credentials:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Salary Target is 90-110k
