Full Job Description
Job Summary:

We9re growing our go-to-market team ahead of a major product launch and industry event season, and we9re looking for an Account Executive to close new business alongside two Business Development Representatives (BDRs) who are building qualified pipeline.

The Role

As Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle from qualified opportunity to signed contract. You9ll work closely with our BDR team (who source and qualify inbound and outbound leads), our Director of Marketing & Growth and our marketing team to convert pipeline into revenue across our core verticals - including Distribution & Wholesale, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, and Energy & Field Services.

Job Description:

What You9ll Do

  • Own and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities handed off from our BDR team, running discovery calls, product demos, and proposal conversations through to close.

  • Build and maintain your own outbound pipeline in parallel with BDR-sourced leads, targeting ICP accounts across our priority verticals.

  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations of MetaViewer, including its integration with Business Central and other supported ERPs, translating technical capability into clear business value for CFOs, Controllers, AP Managers, and IT leaders.

  • Develop and present proposals, pricing, and ROI/cost-per-invoice business cases that address each prospect9s specific pain points.

  • Manage the negotiation and contracting process, coordinating with pricing, finance, and leadership on approvals.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline records in HubSpot, including stage, forecast, and next steps.

  • Partner with Marketing to give feedback on messaging, competitive positioning, and content that supports the sales cycle.

  • Represent Metafile at industry events and trade shows, including Community Summit North America.

  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoff and onboarding of new customers.

  • Manage and grow relationships with VAR (value-added reseller) and channel partners, co-selling on joint opportunities and maintaining regular touchpoints with partner reps.

What We9re Looking For

  • 3+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales, ideally selling into finance/accounting personas or ERP-adjacent solutions.

  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota, with experience managing a full-cycle sales process.

  • Comfort working from BDR-sourced pipeline as well as generating your own opportunities - this role blends inbound conversion with proactive outbound.

  • Experience selling to or working alongside ERP ecosystems (Business Central, Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage, Acumatica, or similar) is a strong plus, though not required.

  • Strong discovery skills - able to diagnose a prospect9s AP and document management pain points and map them to a solution.

  • Confident presenting to multiple stakeholders (finance, IT, operations) and adapting the pitch to each audience.

  • Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM; organized and disciplined about pipeline hygiene.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with prospects and internal partners.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a lean, fast-moving team where ownership and initiative are expected.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with AP automation, document management, or workflow/approval software.

  • Prior experience managing or co-selling with VAR/reseller partners in an ERP or software channel.

  • Prior experience in a company undergoing a product launch or major go-to-market shift.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days, you9ll be fully ramped on MetaViewer9s value proposition and demo flow, actively working a live pipeline of BDR-sourced opportunities, and building your own outbound motion. By the end of your first two quarters, you9ll be a consistent contributor to new-logo bookings, with a forecastable pipeline and strong working relationships across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
