What we are looking for

We're in the market for an Account Executive who's considered a pioneer in everything they do. This needs to be a talented salesperson who succeeds through integrity and fulfilling customer needs. We have a strong market presence, long-standing customer relationships, and significant growth opportunity ahead. This role gives you the chance to step into a meaningful territory and make a real impact.

This is a remote role, but it's very much a field role. The people who succeed here are the ones who get in front of customers, build trust face to face, and stay close to their accounts.

Responsibilities

Own and Grow Your Territory
  • Take full ownership of your accounts and your number
  • Drive new business and expansion within existing customers, while growing and retaining your book of business


Lead Complex, High-Impact Deals
  • Run opportunities from first conversation through contract
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder environments spanning executives, operations, finance, procurement, and public sector stakeholders

Manage Renewals and Long-Term Value
  • Own the renewal process proactively across your accounts, engaging customers early to align on value, scope, and future needs
  • Identify opportunities to expand agreements and deepen partnerships over time


Build Pipeline and Customer Relationships
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships by understanding what success looks like for your customers and aligning solutions to their goals
  • Build a healthy pipeline through proactive outreach, maintaining clear next steps and strong follow-through on every deal
  • Travel regularly to meet customers in person, using face-to-face time to advance active opportunities and strengthen account plans

  • Must-have 8+ years of B2B software or SaaS sales experience
  • 8+ years of B2B software or SaaS sales experience
  • Proven enterprise closing experience on complex deals ($100K+) with multiple stakeholders across full sales cycles
  • Ownership mindset where you run your territory like a business and consistently deliver against a number
  • Ability to build pipeline proactively and maintain strong next-step discipline throughout the cycle
  • Consultative approach to understanding customer needs, with the technical fluency to translate product capabilities into business value for diverse audiences
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders and navigating structured procurement and buying processes
  • Strong collaboration skills across internal teams including product, delivery, and customer success
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, FreshService, ClientSuccess, or JIRA a plus
  • Experience selling into transit agencies, government, or public sector organizations a strong plus
  • Familiarity with RFPs, procurement, and funding cycles will set you apart
  • Transit industry experience is an asset


In the USA, this job profile is EXEMPT and will be not eligible for paid overtime.
