Full Job Description
Phylo is looking for our first enterprise AE with experience closing deals with top biopharma internationally. You'll work directly with the founding team, shape the sales motion, and close the deals that define our first phase of growth.

What you'll do
  • Own enterprise sales cycles end-to-end: build pipeline, run evaluations, navigate procurement, and close multi-stakeholder deals at top biopharma and biotech organizations.
  • Sell to and earn the trust of VP- and C-level buyers in R&D, Informatics, and IT - and the scientists who will actually use the product.
  • Work directly with the founders and engineering team to tailor solutions to each account's specific workflows and data environment.
  • Guide customers through the technical and practical realities of deploying AI in a regulated life science environment - GxP concerns, data governance, IT requirements.
  • Feed market intelligence back into product and GTM strategy - you're our closest signal to what the market actually needs.
  • Build for expansion: structure deals with clear success metrics and land-and-expand logic from day one.

Your skills and capabilities
  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales, including experience closing complex multi-stakeholder deals in life sciences or adjacent industries.
  • You've sold to R&D, informatics, or scientific teams before - you know how researchers evaluate tools and how procurement works in pharma.
  • Technical enough to hold a credible conversation with a bioinformatics team or wet lab scientist without needing a solutions scientist in the room.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and founder-stage constraints - no SDR, no established playbook, high ownership.
  • Strong instincts on deal structure: you know how to build pilots that convert and contracts that expand.
  • Genuine excitement for AI tooling and a point of view on where it's going in life sciences.
