Responsibilities - Identify outcome-based solutions and lead government clients to contract closure.
- Develop consultative relationships with potential and existing clients at every level of their organization.
- Develop and maintain a sales plan for identifying project opportunities, successfully manage a sales pipeline and meet sales goals.
- Perform responsibilities such as lead generation, client satisfaction, proposal development, and client acquisition.
- Apply strong business acumen and analytical thinking to effectively assess opportunities, weighing potential risks against rewards to make informed qualification or disqualification decisions.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions using site/customer insights to shape strategy and pursue opportunities with successful selection through procurement channels.
- Utilize McKinstry's tools and processes to support our customer relationship strategies.
Required Education, Knowledge and Abilities - At least three (3) years experience in energy savings performance contracting with responsibilities for identifying leads, closing sales, and providing oversight to an Operations team preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience required.
- Knowledge of energy performance contracting, building infrastructure systems, facility management, and energy efficiency preferred.
- Participation in professional associations preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel within your state required. Personal transportation for meetings and job visits is reimbursed.

The pay range for this position is $100,900 - $150,900 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
