About the roleLuminovo builds the B2B SaaS platform that powers the electronics supply chain, and we're opening Austin as our first Texas territory.
As an Account Executive on the ground here, you'll own the full sales cycle into mid-market electronics manufacturers across the region - your own pipeline and your own local positioning.
What you'll do- Build the territory from nothing. Find the electronics manufacturing services providers, electronics OEMs, and partners who matter across the region, and make Luminovo a name the local industry recognizes
- Generate your own pipeline. Calls, email, and LinkedIn, plus the local circuit - trade fairs, hardware meetups, and the Texas manufacturing scene
- Qualify. Run discovery that gets to a customer's real situation and pain fast, and quantify what solving it is worth to them; SPICED is the framework we sell in
- Prove value. Run demos built around the pain your buyer actually described, know where we sit against their alternatives, and build the ROI case with our solutions engineers and domain experts
- Close. Guide the buyer through their own process, turn negotiation into a trade both sides want, and hand off to Customer Success cleanly enough that the value you sold lands
- Own the numbers and write the playbook. Stay on top of your leading indicators, feed what you learn in the field back to our product team, and turn what works in Austin into what the next hires run
Who you are- You've sold B2B software, and you can walk through your own numbers from memory: quota, attainment, average deal size, how long your ramp took
- You've built something from close to nothing - a territory, a first playbook, a function nobody had staffed, a company of your own. You're more comfortable without a playbook than with an inherited one
- You use AI as more than a better search engine. You've built your own automations, workflows, or tools, and you can name what you shipped and what came of it
- You've been close to how electronics or physical products actually get made - manufacturing, hardware, or supply chain. A bonus rather than a must, and the strongest single signal we look for, because it's what lets you find the pain before a customer names it
- You're consultative by instinct. Our buyers rarely arrive knowing they have a problem worth solving, so short cycles with demo-ready buyers aren't the motion here
- You're based in Austin. Year one is local relationship building, and the office is where we're building the US team
Work setupHybrid in Austin alongside our team in New York. We meet regularly in Austin with clear expectations on collaboration days. This role is Austin-based rather than Texas-remote.
TravelExpect occasional travel for team retreats, US onboarding in New York, and selected industry events. We cover the costs.
Whom you'll be working with- Matt, our Sales Lead for North America
- Clifton, our VP Sales Global
- Max, who is leads our Revenue Operations team and is in charge of our CRM (Hubspot), supporting you with dashboards, sequences, forecasts, and more
- Mark, our Head of Marketing, to align on positioning/messaging and drive strategic growth initiatives
- Our Sales and Product Team to fully understand our product roadmap, potential constraints, and share product-related customer feedback
Skills, knowledge, and expertiseJust so you know - we purposefully did not create a standard list of minimum qualifications for this role. We care much more about your motivation and ability to help us accelerate technical progress than we care just about your CV.
