We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our growing Medical Affairs team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic client leader who is passionate about advancing scientific exchange and helping clients achieve their Medical Affairs objectives.
About the role
As an Account Director within our Medical Affairs team, you will act as a strategic partner to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, leading the development and delivery of impactful Medical Affairs programs across a range of therapy areas. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing strategic counsel, and overseeing programs that support scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, medical education, advisory boards, congress activities, and broader Medical Affairs objectives.
The role would suit an experienced client services professional with a strong Medical Affairs background who enjoys leading teams, developing client partnerships, and identifying opportunities for growth. You will work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team alongside scientific, engagement, creative, and digital specialists, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality programs while contributing to the continued growth and success of the Medical Affairs offering at Nucleus Global.
To succeed you will have:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in life sciences (advanced degree, preferred)
• Previous experience working in a medical communications environment, particularly across global Medical Affairs
• A strong strategic and leadership background
• A proven track record of exceptional staff, project and client management experience
• Excellent project management skills and be comfortable leading on client facing projects on dynamic accounts while meeting client and group objectives.
• Line management experience
• Experience supporting products across pre-launch, launch, and lifecycle management
• Strong therapy area experience.
• Excellent financial understanding with experience of budgeting and forecasting.
• A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal communication skills

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. Compensation
$110,000-$140,000 USD
