Full Job Description
The base hourly rate for this position is $40.36. Summary: Primaryindepthknowledge ofelectrical and instrumentation.Secondary responsibility inmechanical. Installs,modifiesand maintains electrical and mechanical equipment to maximize performance, reliability and uptime while controlling cost toestablishedguidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the followingand other duties as assigned. Uses the SAP Computer System. Plans,ordersmaterials and schedules. Immersed in Allen-Bradley process control systems. WritesbasicPLC code. TroubleshootsPLC code andcontrolnetwork infrastructure. Completes activities under the mechanical,electricaland instrumentation sections. Electrical Reads and interprets electrical electronic schematics, wiring diagrams,instrumentsloop sheets and technical manuals. Installs andmaintainscomplex electrical,electronicand pneumatic measurements and control systems. Troubleshoots and repairs variable speed motor drive systems. Troubleshoots and repairs pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Reads and follows practicesset forth inthe National Electrical Code. Selects and uses all standard electrical/electronic and instrumentation test equipment. Troubleshoots andmaintainspower distribution system. Calibrates critical Spunbond process measuring equipment. Instrumentation Installs and fabricates instrument components. Modifies control loops, movement and replacement of instruments, and addition and deletions to the systems. Troubleshoot,repairandmaintaininstrumentationsystemand components, including control valvesystem. Maintains charts/log and records Follows area housekeeping and safety rules. Operate shop and power tools in a safe and efficient manner. Activelyparticipateand contribute to cross-functional teams. Supports and promotes safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements Mechanical Troubleshoots and repairs pneumatic systems. Troubleshoots and repairs boilerdowthermsystems. Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic systems. Operate,troubleshootand repair forklifts. Reads and understands blueprints, sketches, mechanicaldrawingsand equipment manuals. Performs precision alignment tasks using laser systems. Able to perform basic millwright tasks. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two years of formal technical training or equivalent in electricaland instrumentationcraft.
