Duties:
- Perform engineering duties related to the planning and design of machines and mechanically functioning equipment.
- Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as robotics, drones, automated and semi-automated scanners, as well as the design and manufacturing of machine parts and gimbals.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet required specifications.
- Coordinate and confer with engineers and other technical personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical support.
- Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, including the selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, and operation of product designs.
- Investigate equipment failures and operational difficulties to diagnose faults and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Conduct further investigations into equipment failures and material degradation to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct non-destructive examination (NDE) activities using various inspection methods.
- Conduct failure analysis related to material defects, corrosion, fatigue, and other degradation mechanisms.
- Support inspection planning, risk-based assessment programs, and quality assurance activities to optimize asset reliability and inspection efficiency.
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or foreign equivalent
