We are seeking a highly experienced Buyer III - Avionics to lead procurement efforts supporting complex aerospace and defense programs, with an emphasis on avionics systems. In this role, you'll manage the end-to-end purchasing process-from identifying sourcing strategies and issuing purchase orders to resolving delivery and invoice issues-ensuring all program requirements are met on time and within budget. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, logistics, and supply chain teams to address long lead times, monitor supplier performance, and drive efficiency across the procurement lifecycle using tools like Costpoint and Coupa.

The ideal candidate brings at least 10 years of hands-on experience in tactical procurement, particularly in fast-paced, regulated environments such as aerospace or defense. A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required, and industry certifications like APICS, CPM, or CSCP are highly preferred. This position requires exceptional negotiation skills, a strong command of supplier management practices, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Experience working with avionics hardware is a major plus.
Compensation: $65/hr.
