Job Description:

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to support quality assurance efforts across web applications, APIs, and microservices within an agile development environment. This role focuses on executing manual test cases, identifying defects, validating system functionality, and ensuring software meets functional and performance requirements prior to release. The ideal candidate has strong experience in manual software testing, requirements analysis, and defect tracking. This individual will work closely with developers, DevSecOps engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Test Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on system requirements and user stories.
  • Functional Testing: Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
  • API Validation: Validate RESTful APIs using the available tools.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and verify defects.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze system requirements and user stories to ensure complete test coverage and identify edge cases.
  • Test Documentation: Maintain traceability matrices, test artifacts, and supporting documentation in accordance with program standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and validate fixes.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8-12 years or relevant experience; or Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience.

  • Top Secret with the ability to obtain SCI, as well as a Polygraph.
