Emerging Talent Rotational (ETR) Program

The ETR Program is designed to help participants build a strong foundation through three unique rotations over three years, providing broad exposure to GSMG and GWES while developing the skills needed for long-term career success. As an ETR, you will:
  • Gain hands-on experience across procurement, supplier management, workplace services, business operations, and digital strategy functions within GSMG and GWES.
  • Work on meaningful projects that support innovation, operational excellence, sustainability, and business growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders across our company's global network.
  • Develop professional, communication, analytical, and project management skills through real-world experiences.
  • Explore multiple career paths while building a strong professional network and foundation for long-term growth.


Potential Rotational Areas
  • Research & Development Sourcing & Procurement (RDSP): Support discovery, preclinical, and clinical trial teams by sourcing the products and services needed to advance new medicines and vaccines. Gain experience in supplier strategy, category management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Business Operations: Support the GSMG organization through centralized sourcing and contracting processes, tools, and operations. Contribute to initiatives that drive efficiency, standardization, and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Indirect Procurement: Partner with business stakeholders to source goods and services that support our company's global operations, including areas such as Marketing, Human Resources, Professional Services, and Site Services. Gain experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and delivering value across a diverse portfolio of business categories.
  • Digital Strategy & Insights: Leverage data, analytics, and digital tools to support business decision-making and drive innovation. Contribute to projects focused on process improvement, market insights, and digital transformation.
  • Supplier Development & Performance Management: Work in a high-performing organization that leverages data and insights to drive supplier performance, continuous improvement, innovation, and risk management.
  • Direct Materials Procurement: Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for categories that directly contribute to the manufacturing of our products while ensuring quality, supply continuity, and business value.
  • GWES Real Estate & Workplace Services: Support projects that help shape the future workplace through real estate planning, facilities management, workplace services, and employee experience initiatives that enable employees to do their best work.
  • Technology Procurement: Partner with technology teams to support sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and digital transformation initiatives that enable business innovation and growth.


Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of a high school diploma with at least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Ideal candidates demonstrate leadership abilities, are analytical, inquisitive, perceptive, quick learners, and are committed to advancing our vision and mission.

  • Adaptability to new roles, teams, and situations, with a willingness to rotate through different business areas over the three-year program.

Program Structure

New hires will complete three rotations over three years across various business areas within GSMG and GWES, primarily located in Pennsylvania and New Jersey offices.

The salary range for this role is
$65,100.00 - $102,500.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
