Field Test EngineerTucson, AZDSN is seeking a Field Test Engineer to support test and validation activities on large mining equipment for a Fortune 100 industrial manufacturing client in Tucson, AZ. This role plans, executes, and documents machine-level testing, validating software functionality and confirming system-level requirements on large mining trucks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working hands-on in a shop and field environment alongside a collaborative engineering team.
Key Contributions & Responsibilities- Support test and validation activities on large mining equipment, validating software functionality against defined requirements.
- Perform system-level testing on large mining trucks.
- Plan, execute, and document machine-level testing.
Team Structure & Work EnvironmentTeam Structure- The team consists of three team leaders, along with several senior and junior engineers.
Interaction Level- Daily interaction with engineers, mechanics, operators, instrumentation technicians, supply chain, and logistics.
Work Environment- Approximately 20% office-based and 80% hands-on in the shop or local field.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required, including boots, safety glasses, and uniform.
