The United States Bureau of Reclamation is a federal agency responsible for managing water resources in the western United States. The agency is responsible for the construction and operation of dams, canals, and other water infrastructure projects, as well as the management of water resources for irrigation, hydroelectric power generation, and other uses. The Bureau of Reclamation was established in 1902 and is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
