The New York Racing Association (NYRA) is a nonprofit organization that operates three of the largest thoroughbred horse racing tracks in the United States: Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park, and Saratoga Race Course. NYRA was founded in 1955 and is headquartered in Elmont, New York. The organization's mission is to promote and sustain the sport of thoroughbred horse racing in New York State. NYRA offers a variety of racing events throughout the year, including the Belmont Stakes, which is the third and final leg of the Triple Crown.
