The Miami Marlins are a Major League Baseball team based in Miami, Florida. The team was founded in 1991 as the Florida Marlins and played their home games at Hard Rock Stadium until 2012, when they moved to Marlins Park, located in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami. The Marlins have won two World Series championships (1997 and 2003) and have had several notable players on their roster over the years, including Giancarlo Stanton, Miguel Cabrera, and Dontrelle Willis. The team is currently owned by Bruce Sherman and Derek Jeter.
